Skirts, Scarves & Scribbles is a little corner of the internet that’s a window in to my wardrobe, life and sewing projects.  You can find out more about why I began the blog by reading my first post.

Tangfastics are delicious.  I can’t ever decide if I like the cherry ones, or the Coke bottles best.

I moved to London on a six month work visa after finishing my BA.  (In English lit, natch.)  Seven years later (!) I’m still here and still loving all things tea, Harry Potter and Jane Austen, and collecting quirky British expressions like: That's as mad as tits on a fish.

MOH (my other half) and I named our cat Max after Max from Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendack.  He’s afraid of the doorbell.  (Our Max, not Maurice.)

I love grapefruits.
